"The one with the morbid news...."

Daily Express Sabah published an excerpt on the accident that took the dear life of our deeply missed Vero, courtesy of Abs and Fellie.

I'm still getting used to the notion of her demise. A part of me still can't really comprehend the morbidity of the news. It is, as if just yesterday I've spoken to her about my engagement and now she's no longer here. If there's anything to salvage from this tragedy, it is that blinding realization of how fragile our lives are; and my only regret is that I've not been able to tell her how much I value our friendship all this while.

I'm certainly going to miss her.
