"The one with the banquet wedding..."

My dearest and I had the opportunity to attend Shan and Nik's wedding at UPM's Dewan Banquet last Sunday. Although I've been working in UPM for the past 2-years, I've yet to set afoot in the hall. In clandestine we took pur visit as an evaluation to put this venue into consideration when our time comes up later next year.

The happy couple, royalties of the day - with a look of fullfillment clearly depicted on both their already sweet faces.

My dearest, here photographed with Mohsen's daughters. My labbies at one point said his youngest to be an approximate to what our children would look like in the future. As usual, I beg to differ (*fingers crossed*).

But then again, amin amin aminnnn...

All in all, it was a fruitful invitation. Had lotsa food; generous servings of all types of meat you could think of - lamb, chicken, beef, mutton, you name it. Desserts were more of a delicacy to justify it's worth. Simply wonderful. The hall was definitely airy, a bit too large for the crowd it catered that day. I guess the 50+ tables wasn't a number large enough to house the throngs of people who crowded Nik-Shan's wedding, it was a bit quiet but definitely picked up throughout the afternoon. Shan's parents were very welcoming and so were Nik's. We have fun, thanks for the invitation you guys!

Selamat Pengantin Baru Nik-Shan! Here's wishing the both of you all the happiness in the world, and all the best in your new lives as a married couple. May the both of you be bestowed with the many blessings which comes in a marriage, and for you to be the happiest together till your old times.
