"The One with the World Cup Glory...and the return of The Man of Steel.."

1
Well, this week's been very tough for World Cup fans worldwide.

Thanks to the blunders of Gerrard and Lampard, England's hopes of reaching the semis diminished at the feet of the consistent Portugeses. And hat's off to Henry; for bringing a halt to the journey of the reigning champions of the cup.

Personally, the thoughts of both my preferred teams not clashing in the next round kinda sucks. Well, that's how tournaments are. Winners rule, losers drool....

Much has been expected from Bryan Singer's latest undertaking of the legendary superheroes of all time. And after yesterday's screening at GSC, it was nothing short of phenomenal. For those who haven't watched the movie of the last son of Krypton's return, should pay haste and start queing at the counters. It was just 160minutes of pure astonishing, adrenaline pumping, emotionally intense movie. By the coming of the ending credits, I'd realised that this is by far the best comeback of an immensely anticipated franchise. If you thought Spiderman was cool, wait till you start gripping your seats when Kal-El stops a descending airplane plunging from the mesosphere.

Genius, Singer...just genius. Looking forward to its further sequels, definitely.

Oh, not to mention every now and then as the camera focuses on Brandon Routh you'll never be short of listening to endless sighs and admiration from all over the cinema. Mostly from the ladies, no pun intended.
